Emission Testing and Repair

Pricing is based on the vehicle being tested and the type of test required. Gas tests will be determined by the model year, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), and if it is a motorhome. Diesel testing is standard for all model years and weigh ratings.

 Assembled Vehicles, Grey Market Vehicles, and Engine Swaps may have special considerations. Please consult our trained inspectors or the DMV Emissions Lab (775-684-3580) for more information.

*Please note, prices are for testing services, not testing results. Failure to pay may result in a $100 fee and vehicle storage fee up to $75 a day.

  • Diesel/Gas Combo 
    $60.00

     Combine one Diesel or Tailpipe Gas test with an OBDII Gas test for one low price. Tests must be completed within one year of each other.



  • Gas - OBDII 
    $30.00

    Vehicles 1996 and newer with a GVWR 8500lbs and lower. Does not include motorhomes.

  • Gas - Tailpipe Test 
         $45.00

    Vehicles with a GVWR over 8500lbs, or 1995 and older. Includes all gas motorhomes.

  • Diesel - Now Available 
         $45.00

    All Diesel Vehicles 14,000lbs GVWR and under. Diesel Vehicles over 14,000lbs GVWR are exempt from annual emission testing requirements. 

  • Rejected Test 
         $30.00-$45.00

    Tests that receive a rejected test result will be charged full price and customer will receive a $20 Gift Certificate towards future testing or repairs.

  • Registration Renewal - Coming Soon 
          No extra fee

    Registration Renewal with the Nevada DMV is included with any emissions test at no extra charge. The vehicle must be eligible for renewal and meet all DMV requirements (e.g. insurance). Customer will be responsible for paying DMV registration charges.

  • Emission Repair Labor Rate 
         $150.00/Hour

    Any work towards a repairing a fault which causes an emission failure (Requires failing emission test before and after service). 

  • Unset Monitor Inspection and Monitor Setting
         $75.00

    We will inspect vehicles who reject due to unset monitors (common on OBDII tests) and perform a drive cycle to attempt to set monitors. Expect 3-4 business days for proper drive cycle testing. Results are not guaranteed.
